Being a comprehensive bestiary of the creatures of Fheros, compiled by Aleksander Vadislav for the use of Guild adventurers. Know thy enemy.
Each creature is listed with its full stat block. Stats are presented as value (modifier). Defence = 10 + max(CON mod, DOD mod). HP = 20 x Rank + (CON mod x 20) + (Rank x 10); doubled at Gold rank and above. Reaction DC = 8 + Proficiency + Rank. Proficiency = Rank + highest Action stat modifier.

The Leviathan's Bane – De Vincha Clan Ship
Type: Vehicle (Sailing Ship, 800 ft long, three masts). The flagship of the De Vincha seafaring branch, purpose-built for hunting sea monsters. Reinforced hull plating with magically imbued metal reinforcements. Climate-controlled crew quarters, enchanted navigation chamber.
Shipboard Armaments
- Harpoon Launchers: Fire enchanted harpoons attached to durable steel cables with magical barbs. Immobilise and control sea monsters.
- Ballistae & Catapults: Positioned on foredeck and aft. Hurl explosive shells and enchanted nets.
- Depth Charges: Magical charges that create powerful explosions stunning submerged creatures.
- Sonar Crystal Array: Network of magically attuned crystals embedded in the hull. Detects nearby sea monsters.
Crew Equipment
- Anti-Aquatic Creature Armour: Armour 30 (Rank 3 x 10) + Defence 12 against aquatic creatures.
- Underwater Breathing Apparatus: Magical device allowing each crew member to breathe underwater.
- Water Walk Rings: All crew members equipped with rings granting the ability to walk on water.
Diretide Dinghy (2 on board)
Type: Vehicle (Magical Folding Dinghy). A portable magical dinghy that appears as a folded boat easily carried by one person. When activated, rapidly inflates into a sturdy, seaworthy dinghy carrying up to 6 people.
- Self-Inflation: Deploys to full size within seconds.
- Buoyant Resilience: Unsinkable, even in turbulent waves or hostile aquatic creature attacks.
- Navigational Aid: Enchanted compass always pointing to the nearest safe landmass.
- Protective Bubble: Magical bubble providing resistance to harmful environmental effects.
- Speedy Escape: Magical propulsion system enhances speed for rapid escapes.
After use, the dinghy drops 2 sticks and 1 plank.
Thoru's Seven Cannons
Seven legendary cannons forged for Thoru, the greedy pirate son of Plank Roa. Each requires a creature with Strength 18+ to move. All abilities recharge on a Plentiful Rest.
1. Kraken's Fury Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 3 sq cone. 8d8 Physical (bludgeoning) + 4d8 Water (cold) damage. Dodge DC 22 half.
2. Thunderclap Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq cone. 10d10 Air (thunder) damage. Dodge DC 22 half.
3. Dragon's Breath Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq cone. 12d6 Fire damage. Dodge DC 22 half.
4. Stormcaller Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq line. 8d8 Air (lightning) damage. Dodge DC 22 half.
5. Maelstrom Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq radius whirlpool. All creatures within range must succeed a STR DC 24 reaction check or be pulled 6 sq toward the centre and take 8d10 Physical (bludgeoning) damage.
6. Galeforce Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq line. All creatures within range are pushed 2 sq away from the cannon and knocked prone.
7. Phantom Cannon (Rank: Electrum 6)
Blast (1/Plentiful Rest): 6 sq line, passes through walls and obstacles. 10d8 Power (Mana force) damage to all creatures in its path.
